What an exciting Girl’s Night Out!

We will have a Meet & Greet for new ladies on Tuesday, February 5th, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Invite a friend.

The new 3 Gun University has been announced. It will take place in conjunction with the He-Man 3 gun match on May 17-19. Let me know if there are any questions about this event.

Since we’ve had several new ladies join us, I reviewed a few of the range safety rules:
1. One door at a time, upon entry to range.
2. Keep the muzzle pointed down range at all times; pivot with hips to avoid the 45 degree angle.
3. No walking on/off the line with a naked gun.

I went over our tentative plans for the year. I will go over them again, but will not publish until it becomes a little less tentative and a little more set. My copy was a rough brainstorm.

We discussed the new 2019 Shooting Journal. It is free to members for online viewing. I am pricing options for printed versions in color and black & white. I believe Robyn is pricing options as well.

I mentioned a few local matches I believe would be beneficial to attend for anyone who may be interested in action shooting. I’ll provide more specifics as they get closer.

Speaking of matches, the new quarterly match has been announced and it is quite a bit more technical than the past few matches. What makes it more technical is the skills involved: empty start, shooting with non-dominant hand, reloads on the clock, target transitions, and one-handed shooting. So, our evening training and drills were based on that. It was definitely challenging and it looks like we’ll be spending a little more time on all of those skills. I will most likely break it down into smaller bites, so it is easier to chew.
