Christmas Party Success

16 Dec 2020 by Rebecca King

Hello, Ladies!

Thank you to all who came to our Christmas party! I had such a good time with all of you and it sure was worth all the efforts that went in to it. I hope you all enjoyed the food, games, and gifts as much as I did. If you were not able to make it, we look forward to having you join us in the festivities next year!

Special thanks to Kerry McNutt and Tricia Wisehart for helping with the food planning, shopping, cooking, and serving. Also to my kiddos for helping with food, decorations, and a thousand miscellaneous deeds. Your acts of service were greatly appreciated. Thank you to First Moore for the incredible and spacious venue. Thank you to the ladies who brought in the additional yummy bites and to all who brought the lovely Dirty Santa gifts.

Congratulations to Acacia Anthis for her first place finish in the Ugly Sweater contest. It was definitely something to behold. Congratulations to the ladies who were the winners of the raffle drawings. I hope you enjoy your A Girl & A Gun logo items.

I was so pleased to see ladies from other chapters in attendance. Thank you for joining us and you are always welcome in the future. Our sisterhood is a huge part of what makes A Girl & A Gun successful. Everyone received Share our Sisterhood cards in your goodie bags. Please give those to a friend, family member, acquaintance, or random chick off the street. Those cards work for every chapter. Let’s invite new ladies to experience the awesomeness with us.

Finally, on a personal note, thank you so much for the Christmas card and contents. I am so thankful and blessed to be a part of a community of women who think outside themselves and express love and gratitude in heartfelt and practical ways. I love you all so much and I am so proud and humbled, if that’s possible, to be your chapter facilitator. I’m looking forward to many more years of learning and growing with you all.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Respectfully,

Rebecca King

P.S. We are having our regularly scheduled GNO on December 22nd. If you are looking for a small group therapy session to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is your opportunity!
